I’d like to state first the record that I cannot listen to Ted talks. The cadence, the bite size wisdom, everything about how they are delivered makes me cringe.
I can see white and gold but I cannot make myself see black trimming no matter how I try
Thank you. I totally saw blue and gold and I was wondering why noone else did...
Wow! Today I learned. Thanks for a great podcast.
We all had this hair style in the 80s growing up. It didn't have a name, the word "mullet" was a later invention to make fun of our pictures and the small townies who still wore the style into the 90s post-hair metal.
Seriously, do all your guests go to the same literacy club? So tired of hearing the word 'like' being repeatedly used as a crutch by your guests. Unlistenable.
I usually like this show but had to stop listening halfway through. Saying it's impossible to have a non political gender reveal is ridiculous. If it's wrong and binary to find out the gender of your baby by blue or pink (arbitrary symbols, might as well replace with the male/female symbols, etc) that's a step away from saying it's wrong to want to find out the gender or to raise your baby boy/girl as a boy/girl. In my case, we had a party with my parents and siblings and my husbands parents and siblings who speak another language and live far away. We chose to do a gender reveal so we could share the news with everyone at once- a blue balloon was the perfect way to go so everyone saw and understood. Maybe reductionist, but it doesn't change how I will raise my son nor does it put him in a box. Stop trying to be "woke", not everything is political.
I'm so happy to see this back from hiatus! This podcast is one of my favorites, and it gives me material to have fun and interesting conversations with my parents 😀.
I always wondered about this. Thanks for answering my question!
This is crazy. If this theory scuttled the show, I ate everyone behind it!
British comedian? That’s one of the strongest Aussie accents going
