EXCELLENT EPISODE- personally,Which Way book #10,"Invasion of the Black Slime" is in my collecton of CYOA and similar books.Page 56 of that book features an image that gave me terrible nightmares as a little kid.I bought it as an adult and laugh at my younger self whenever I occasionally read it.

I would like to preface this review by saying I LIKE THE PODCAST, but honestly. .....what is up w Chris and 'Exposition'? Its been used in so many episodes I actually get angry when I hear it now. He used it FOUR TIMES in 'The Girl w/ the Dragon Tattoo' ALONE!! And Jay, 'Cartoonishly villainous ' is quickly becoming your crutch. Also - dial diwn the smugness just a tad. I've listened to every episode willingly, but you guys are a bit too full of yourselves sometimes.

The more you describe this "incredible book" the more I'm thinking Sabrina The Teenage Witch versus (80s Barbie copy) Jem

The Dramatic Reading of the love scene: "they were skin to skin" instantly made me laugh as I imagined a body fart when they slapped bellies

I've always been lukewarm interested in the RE games but that's SO much time I could be doing something else(playing a different game) so I'll definitely get all the available RE audiobooks, this was a great episode

Trigger Effect: exactly why I recommend classics like My Brothers Keeper because I'd rather hear a review about cyborg brain surgery that melds a rockstar and his scientist brother in the 80s

Having two men comment on a book like this about female relationships is so illuminating. This book is realistic. Anna being the worst doesn't make her a bad character. She's just an asshole, perfect for Tom (as Rachel realizes) a killer protecting her daughter. It's also clear from jump that Tom is the killer. To a woman used to negotiating life with men like this.
