I’m so disappointed. All I hear in every review is the patriarchy in every episode now. It’s a horror movie review not a discussion about right and wrong. It’s just a movie! That being said I will no longer follow this podcast.

Love that you guys put stuff out so frequently but after a few listens I think you guys would benefit more from less shows and more homework and review on the movies you are discussing. Love the layout of the show but really felt that some guests really had no idea what they were talking about. Prefer Faculty of Horror over this but still good. Thanks for the content.

Hello this is my first listen of your podcast, pretty decent. I am in my early 40's and consider myself well versed in horror from the 30's onward. Huge Christopher Lee/Hammer fan, love Stephen King's books, especially Salem's Lot and the Dark Tower series. I waited for years for this movie, I have read the books several times, actually reading them again now and highly suggest them to everyone! I could not be more disappointed in this movie, it's fucking garbage! Even if I had not read the books, I still would have been disappointed, but I can't say enough how pissed I am at this turd of a movie, Hollywood could have made several installments of those books like Lord of the Rings and made them fantastic but no, they had to totally waste this opportunity and instead make horrible remake after another. Salem's Lot, the late 70's made for TV version, was great for its time, great book also. Anyway I will give another episode of your podcast a listen, thanks for keeping horror alive!
