Just want to scream at you about not providing space for your community to gather and socialize. While I enjoy your podcast and game play videos, I am disappointed that you haven't been running small events, safely, to keep your patrons mental together. Just glad we have a local store that lets me keep our group playing together once a week so they don't get depressed, and have something positive to look forward to. Good luck when you get things going again.

"Chip Theory" actually already has a name, "Botique". Botique assumes rather than quality over quantity, you want asthetics over quantity. Form and function. Basically rather than sacrificing either form, function, quality or asthetics, Botique products tend to sacrifice price. It is often quite expensive, but offers a unique experience.

Heroclix would probably be the more casual version of Crisis Protocol. The miniatures are already painted. There is a grid on all the maps so there is no need to measure distances. The rules are simple and recently they made it so the opponent must show the character abilities and powers cards upon request so there is no question as to what a figure does.

The Auction slowly became my #1 must-do event in all of Gen-Con after a few years. So much so that I started volunteering for it since I was already going to be in the room so often I might as well get my badge covered. And by the way, what they sell is... Everything. Best stuff in the evenings when the crowds have less to do elsewhere :)
