A cracking episode, lots to boil Woody’s , so that’s good. Sadly recorded before the great news about Estève committing his future. The three new contracts signed indicate a happy ship at present. Let’s see how the new squad gels.

Good debrief, but is there any way in which a question can be asked in less than 1 minute? Questions, pre-loaded with suggestive answers, tend to dominate recent podcasts. When hosting, Simon tends to ask questions more pointedly, allowing the other members more time to answer & elaborate. IMHO, this provides a better format.

Presumably no pre-season games at the Turf as the new pitch won’t be ready in time.

Good coverage overall, enjoyed the new strip observations, but no mention of our increasing problems in the gk dept. No senior gk coach, BPF has gone, so too Muric. So only Vigeroux & for now Trafford remain. Needs some attention, so too the rumoured non-return to pre-season of Tresor & Delcroix. Is the squad a happy squad?

Another fair & good episode and yes, fully agree we have missed the effervescence of Nathan Tella this season. What a difference he would have made this season, on & off the pitch.

Happy New Year lads. Lovin the pod and look forward to each episode. Infinitely better than the others. 👍

Another good episode, though can’t quite believe Joe Jakub makes a team because of his moustache!

Another good episode. Like the idea of VAR in Sunday League, that could prove very entertaining & why not, given we’ve already got Sunday League refs in the Premiership.

Great episode, some very good observations & thoughts. If we’re going to beat Sheff Utd, perhaps best if JJ Watt stays in the Royal Dyche.

Another good episode in this gloomy period. There’s a good case to use the Everton game as the team that will then play Palace at the weekend, rather than giving peripheral squad players a runout. Hopefully Beyer, Ekdal are not too far away from fitness and Foster has overcome illness.

This podcast is developing superbly in many aspects. Loving the guests, variety in pundits & subjects. Looking forward to the twice weekly outputs
