So informative. Thank you Bishop Barron and Dr Ratner-Rosenhagen. The part when you mentioned America as the new frontier it made me think of Davy Crockett… king of the wild frontier 😆 (I grew up with two older brothers who used to bellow this song around the paddocks at home in Oz)

So so true and something that needs to be shared. Through healthy disagreements and fruitful conversations we will all grow in wisdom and love, for God and others.

One thing could be discussing beatitudo and of course what will not ultimately not make you happy. I have found that despair ain't the way.

My search for a common denominator was looking for a way to bring us all together. I think the Catholic Church is best suited. Studying your messages along with some others is hopeful. Christ accepted me the way I was at 52 now at nearly 82 and a practicing artist I am part of a small group of men coming together in central texas. You are opening a door that is otherwise difficult to enter.

I Enjoy your lectures, podcasts, sermons and discussions. “ do not fear” resolved some issues for me, especially in these times. I have never thought about being Catholic until I started researching a common denominator of all Christian faiths respecting the Spirit of Truth and the realty of Christ in us and Holy Spirit infilling our conscience. A personal relationship ( Christ in us “ the Holy Spirit, along with his presence in communion “ the Eucharist”.

Bishop Barron is such a clever teacher. I loved to his simple explanation of what causes our fear. No wonder they call the story of Jesus "the Good News"

I do wonder; if AI is at present emotionally dysfunctional (imitating/running off human anger now) but is by design, like the Frankenstein monster, morphing and evolving through human example and interaction, is it a competitive beast, or friendly, loyal, trustworthy (worthy of love) but without a soul/spirit will it’s capabilities venture to want to control humans with a God like status?

When I visited America I did find the service so quick, that you just dont have time to look and enjoy your meal and time together.

The big question is why Bishop Barron hasn't been asked to respond to this article in the NY Times. People need to be given the opportunity to be exposed to a sensible philosophical argument about the question of being by an expert in the field.

This podcast is a real gift in the noise of today's culture. Food for the mind and spirit to continue on our search for something larger than ourselves

Bishop Barron has really brought Catholicism into the 21st century arena but without compromising the truth if the message.

Bishop Barron helped bring me back to my Catholic faith. The logic and rigor he applies to explaining the Church's thinking has been such a blessing!
