I also disagree with Schweiss about how a game can be a good game, but a bad game for a series. There's two ways this can happen. If all the games in a series get 10/10 scores, and then one comes out and gets a 9/10, it's a bad game for that series. It's still a great game, it's a 9/10, but its below the standard of the other games in the series. The other way a game can be a bad game in the series, but still a good game is when they change the mechanics. If I play a turn based rpg for the gameplay mechanics and the next game is a first person shooter, I would consider it a bad game in the series. The fps mechanics could be amazing, but a fps doesn't satisfy the same gaming desires that a turn based rpg does. So in that case, it would also be a bad game in the franchise, not because of the quality, but because it's not representative of what the series is. Like, would you call Mario RPG a great Mario game, or Pokemon Snap a great Pokemon game?

You can have a great character with a bad story. For example, I think Duke Nukem is awesome, and I played the older games because I liked the character and his one liners. However, I would never say the game had a good story. On the flip side, I love the story for FF Tactics, but I barely remember the character's names.

Camron sounds like a moron. "Protest without getting in anyone's face." That's not a protest. The point of a protest is to disrupt. Also, of you think sitting in traffic is worse than unarmed people being killed by police, women being sexually assaulted, people being falsely imprisoned, unequal drug laws, etc then you're just a piece of shit.
