Amazing. So glad you had him on. You might dig another brother’s band, the Dragons out of San Diego. They aren’t around any more, but they trully rock and bring joy. All great guys! Ah, he just mentioned them at the end. I seriously miss them all and am still ripped apart that we lost Steve.

What a train wreck. Narcissism, mean streak, and cognitive decline. Ooph.

Chevy Chase is always entertaining

Love that you mentioned the iPad check drop. I told my husband when we were leaving Saturday night that the iPad check out was terrible! I told him that I missed a full 5 minutes of Marc’s set. I fully agree, total bummer.

Listening in 2023, I’m sorry that Netflix did you guys dirty. They really lost something good.

Hi Marc, you do beautiful conversations even with.people that like the sound of their own voice:. An occupational hazard I guess. I also listen to the podcast clear+vivid with Alan Alda... conversations about commications with really smart and nevertheless somethings fund and a lot of the time relaxed and interesting and interested

I’ve been listening to Karina Longworth’s excellent podcast since it began, and I even bought her book (terrific - Go buy it!), but honest to god... even though she has worked on her voice and delivery substantially since those early days, her vocal fry is just painful to listen to. I love her work, she makes *the most interesting* connections about Hollywood people and their lives, but goddamn her voice will always be a trial for me. Argh!

How will I know where and when to see Ashley in the UK, she sounds like a bad sweetie, very enchanting.

Courtney Love Is close to unlistenable. I finally had to stop it and delete the episode. Not Mark’s fault at all. She’s a freaking nutcase who must be still processing the drugs she took over the last 40 years. Sheesh
