I had a similar situation to the dice gods question with a rogue I was playing once. At first level I kept killing enemies in a single hit, which was odd, so I talked to my dm and we decided to nerf my character a bit. Nerfing my character made gameplay and combat much more fun for everyone so I’m glad I did it

I’ll have to disagree with the npc outlook you all took. You all mentioned that the player said ”no” to reducing the npcs in the back story, when it was ”that they can choose to use.” Where is the ”Yes and” mentality... Up side you had me invested in the whole episode as always. Still love your show.
