There’s no such thing as a registered emotional support animal btw. Those are scams. You need a note from your doctor or therapist to have an emotional support animal, those registrations are scams and hold no legal backing. Also an emotional support animal is not the same as a therapy animal that visits places like hospitals. Both are also different than service dogs that actually have public access.

I don’t think the taxidermy is bad for an animal you love. Different coping methods for different people. I have my bonded guinea pigs skeletons articulated because that is a more special memorialization to me and makes me feel more like that a part of them is still there.

property manager here: its pretty standard that you haul everything away when you’re vacating someones apartment BUT (at least in CA) you have to post a notice, mail a notice and try to contact an emergency contact (if one was listed) for situations just like this. more often than not people will voluntarily leave like a bed frame or stuff behind they dont want or cant take with them. especially if they suddenly have to leave to help family(happened a lot during covid)
