The way this was presented was not in context. He’s talking about giving, but he’s saying, ”giving to God’s work,” not necessarily to him. I think you’re being overly critical now. I’m not saying that Hinn is always right, but I feel like you’re being overly critical.

If Benny Hinn truly repented, he would step down from ministry. Anything short of that is not repentance on his behalf.

I’ve thought of this a lot recently with having a new baby in our life now. Something didn’t sit right with me about telling him Santa is real. Thank you for helping me put words to my ambiguous thoughts!

Lukewarm churches today are seeker friendly churches. Examples include Hill Song, Bethel Church, Bill Johnson’s the pastor. Other apostate churches like the United Church of Canada, the Church of England; woke churches.

Seeker friendly churches don’t do anyone favors. Around 17:30

Yeah why don’t they add the pedophile priests while there at it for bad baggage. Around minute 15. Yes it’s disgraceful pedophilia is an abomination, and very sick!!

Hi Mike, love ur podcast and youtube Please note that the Bible only confirms that our Spirit goes to heaven when we die before the resurrection... check it out search spirit then search soul. Also, question: how can our soul before it is totally sinless go to heaven?

I have difficulty in finding good treatments of a Biblical perspective on gluttony as opposed to the very common fad materials out there on mere weight loss. A fresh Biblical study on this topic would be helpful - and so obviously in need. I would love to see you address this ubiquitous with your Bible oriented methodology.

Mike, Please remember those individuals in the military, law enforcement, hospital, EMT, fire, etc, that work on Sundays. Let’s encourage them AND their families by perhaps offering alternative days to worship and have “Sunday Service” because we definitely want them to stay on the job! Meet the needs of the parishioners when possible in these areas because we’ve been on the other side, and frankly, it’s fatiguing to hear from brothers and sisters in Christ that say “… just get a different job”. Really? Is that reasonable or desirable? Only non-believers in those roles is less than ideal… Glad you’re feeling better!

I love your videos and podcast and am a long time listener, but cutting the legs out from under your arguments by straw manning doesn’t help the discussion.

2 years ago reply 0

Make an argument from scripture? Sounds good. Don’t stretch the scripture to fit multiple instances when it only happens once? Absolutely. Shoehorning people into making arguments they didn’t me, like a Pharisee being the leader of a church, or peters mother in law being the leader of the church, or Lydia leading a church after she just got saved helps no one. Your frustrations seem to bleed into mockery and derision and lead several of your arguments into derision instead of scholarship.

30 mins in: this was my married life. My husband hid our marriage certificate and accused me of losing it. He left me when I was pregnant and filed for divorce. his solicitor mentioned something about the marriage certificate and I told her all he did. She went very quiet. There was all the isolation and control and rape and infidelity and I was so abused that I didn’t even believe a husband COULD rape his wife because he & our church manipulated the bible to imply that the husband could anythin

They mix African spiritual understanding with the bible to come up with this wild whacky stuff. I watched as FIFMI leaders pray water demons away before I got baptised so they ”wouldn’t go into me and possess” me!!

2 years ago reply 0

SORRY!! Forward in Faith Ministry International. And it also is an African founded church started by ”apostle” Ezekiel. They gather money from members and the leaders are all in nice suits, free housing paid by the church, yelling in the pulpit, hype hype hype, exhausting schedules of 6 or 7 days a week of church activities, prosperity gospel, devils behind every bush and lamppost. It’s where I got saved. Then Jesus had to save me from that place!! But they ruined my life first. It was a cult

I thought that was my first church!! Forward in Faith International Ministry. I was pregnant and in a prayer thing a woman poked my belly telling the devil to ”get out” so I pretended to drop because that usually stops them. But this woman kept going, standing over me screaming ”at the devil” & I just lay there scared hoping she would not hurt me or my baby... 😫

Thank you Pastor Mike for the wealth of sound biblical teaching you present on Bible Thinker. Thank you for pointing your listeners to Jesus. SB

This is awesome. How did Jesus not know all and still be God while He was here? Simply that when He came here He lived His life according to the Holy Spirit(HS). The HS revealed to Him what He needed to know in His humanity one day at a time. This is good news bc we have the same HS in us and we r also partakers of His divine nature. Now we too can live r lives the same way He lived His—totally submissive and obedient to r Father’s will. Blessings! Ps. Love the Incredibles!

(2) the Gospel, went and lived among them, many got saved. These women for years lived with the ppl, teaching them, pastoring them, counseling them and even translated the Bible into their language so they would have a copy of the written word. How does God bless the work of these women who clearly went to these ppl in the place of their martyred men? It just makes me think, that’s all. Blessings brother.

2 years ago reply 0

With regards to Complementarianism. I know there are places where women are forbidden to speak etc in scripture. But God seems to do the same kind of work thru the willing, yet learned, hearts of women as He does thru men. IDK. I’m bringing this up bc I saw some amazing docs on Elizabeth Elliott and Rachael Saint. Their husbands and 3 other men were killed trying to reach an unreached ppl group but all the men were martyred b4 1 soul got saved. It was the women who brought them (continued on 2)

Such a delight to find ur Ministery pastor Mike. Tysm for ur service to Him. With regards to number 14, I heard it explained like this. It all had to do with their culture and the fact that so many women were not properly educated as the men were. It was said that women were speaking out in church asking questions that were know by most men already and it was considered VERY rude for these unlearned women to speak in church. Let them learn at home. IDK. Seems plausible given v35. Again IDK.

I found myself conversing with someone who is KJV only and also has a hyper sense of focus (sometimes that can be bad). This combination led me to ask him to only speak KJV with me when he interacted with me, and I would do the same for him (communicate using KJV only). This has quenched the flames between us at the expense of burdening communication efforts, but I just wanted to put this out there if it helps someone else. Again, we only will answer questions we have with one another using KJV.

Concerning the question about if Jesus would’ve eventually died of old age if He hadn’t been crucified; the thought that came to my mind is that Jesus would not have died of old age because He is Life. The fact that He came in human form, to me, is irrelevant because it does not negate Jesus’s divinity. He’s still life. Just a thought.
