The banter is great, but the campaign story sucks. I feel like there is more banter because none of the players care about this particular campaign

Troy its not the Story or the characters, its the slow leveling and ignoring of hero points. Gatewalkers is a tough AP and it needs stronger characters to have fun. If you would level up the party to 4, it would automatically be a different campaign
Gatewalker definitely the weakest campaign glass canon has. I’m still bored and don’t get the story
I love it how Troy says he won’t fudge low rolls to male the players feel better but we are all 10000% sure he fudges high rolls. Pull out some dice and have Troy roll 10 times, I guarantee his rolls will be alot more up and downs and not just a steady high. That or Troy is definitely giving himself way too high of a bonus to the encounter creaturer. He is the type to do that. There is a reason he rolls higher as a Dm vs when he is a player.
Honestly by the 14th episode of Giant slayer, I was hooked and the players leveled faster. Even the live shows leveled faster and have a better plot. I just can’t get into this campaign. Years of planning and I’m just listening to players getting destroyed by random creatures that have nothing to do with the plot. Weird interpretation by Troy as the Dm, assuming we enjoy listening to players getting destroyed vs fun Rp and heroes being heroes.
Pathfinder 2.0 clerics are horrible, dnd 5e clerics can light up a room with no concentration and its not even a big deal 😅

Great show whether you play pathfinder or not
Flat check is basically a minor disadvantage version of dnd regular disadvantage because you don’t choose the lowest roll but it really screws you up to depend on 2 rolls to make a single attack. Makes pathfinder less fun than 5e

I can’t believe they are level 1 by episode 15, with Troy constantly throwing level 5 encounters against the party. They should have had enough experience by now. This is why 2e is supposed to have hero points every session, but Troy always wants it to be hard-core. Dnd doesn’t have foxes at level 1 with sneak attack dice lmao Pathfinder is ridiculous
The more I listen to Troy dm in 2e the less I ever wanna try pathfinder. I love the crew, but 5e is so much better Rp game than pathfinder. Its designed to be miserable 😅

Troy fudges rolls so bad its hard to enjoy the show. 41???? His creature has a plus 21 to initiative and he rolled a nat 20???? He shouldn’t be allowed to roll initiative before the show and let people see this nonsense.

Another stellar episode! I’m really glad that you’re taking time for in character conversations with each other and the NPCs. However, there is a glitch around 1:27. It’s cutting out part of the show.
I really wish they’d so stop with the awkward and forced romance/raise stuff. It’s not funny and they take so much time to be so bad at improve with it. And Sydney for no reason after 5 episodes of desperately trying to get with him (”hey don’t forget me I can do funny stuff too!”) moving to get rid of bubbles who is the only redeeming part of all of that came outta no where and lead no where. Just stop it, get some help.
