I agree with both of the comments above. I hope the house being demolished doesn’t cause him to wall free all bc they couldn’t wait. Just like with piketon jurors toured the crime scenes. I pray it doesn’t affect the outcome in anyway.

I concur with the first comment. Additionally, I think based on the timeline & the fact that the university was paying for the security of the home, I think the decision to demolish was financial. The university will lean on the emotional aspect of this situation to justify the demolishing of the house. Of course, to me, the site should be torn down eventually. Ultimately, I think it was an error to demolish the site of the crime until after the conclusion of the trial. I hope justice is served.

In my opinion, the prosecutors should have emphatically refused to let the house be torn down until after the trial was over. I find it hard to believe that the house was in too bad or condition to allow for people to tour through it. Taking the jurors through the house would have been a great tool to bring them into the entire horror of what happened on that terrible night.

Latah Co is pronounced ”Lay-Taw.” Really wish these reporters would do their research and get it right.

I’m really enjoying this podcast. It’s very thorough and goes in depth with the Wagner family. One suggestion I would make is when they bleep out the names of the children whenever they are mentioned, they could use a less obtrusive sound. This episode especially. The witness on the stand is very soft-spoken. Therefore, I turn up the volume, and that sound is jarring in comparison.
