I love the way the creators if this podcast told this delicate story in such a beautiful way that the victims are known and got their story told

A story that needs telling but it's so slow.

I was very moved by this podcast. Shocked and aghast. But the woman Diana in the final last minutes started politicizing and making a stretch by saying POTUS and 2 SCOTUS were the same as the powerful men who did the gruesome killings and rapes. She lied when she said President Trump admitted he could do he said specifically that when you are rich and famous women in Hollywood would allow you to crap them by the p’ssy. That is a wholly different thing from sadistic behavior.

I grew up in El Paso. As a kid in the early 80’s we used to take the bus to the Plaza then walk across the bridge and spend the day. We used to go there and buy fireworks. I joined the military in 85 and when home we would go there to drink and eat. My parents started telling me about these murders in about 95. The last time I went to Juárez was in about 2002 to Ojos de Lupita to buy colored contacts for my daughter.

An incredibly well done podcast. Each person did an excellent job at conveying the seriousness of this topic as well as the dangers involved with just telling the story. I hope it brings to light the injustice the poor face across these border regions. Being raised 10 min from Reynosa and a Mexican young woman this made me realize so much that I hadnt considered having been mostly raised in America. I hope more people hear these voices of truth.

This podcast is heartbreaking and enraging. I also grew up on the border and feel a deep connection to Mexico and this tragedy. Discarding these women as trash simply because they're poor and deemed expendable is unforgivable. American business that is complicit and possibly in collusion leaves me speechless. Profits over people is unacceptable.

As a person that grew up and El Paso and traveled to Juarez every weekend to visit my family, this podcast hits home. I remember seeing and reading the news reports about these horrible incidents. Oz and Monica did an amazing job covering this story and painting an amazing picture of what life is like in both cities. One of the best podcasts that I've ever listened to.

every episode leaves me in awe, punctuated by periods of sadness @ the dark sides of humanity and hope that still, there remains, the truth diggers that keep excavating, even at risk to their own sanity & lives.
