I was listening to this, in the car, as we are travelling Australia in our caravan at present. You had just told the story of your Grandmother and your pink rose etc and I was getting major goosebumps which happens to me sometimes. You mentioned her name was Blanche, I am sure?? I looked up to see a motorhome, with a Pink registration plate with the name Blanche on it approaching! I think your Grandmother could be having an Australian vacation, haha! I paint all of my substrates with a pink before painting on them... coincidentally! Love your podcasts!
