la Llorona is not a Mexican legend. she exists in every Latin American country from Mexico to Argentina. In Costa Rica for example I met many people who swear they saw or heard la Llorona. My Venezuelan family tells me she is a common legend there as well. I have yet to find a nation in L.A. where she does not exist.

Very boring episode. Great subject but the narrator does a very poor job narrating it. It sounds more like a very cheesy soap opera rather than a historic podcast. Very disappointed with this podcast. It needs a better host.
