Helpful. I would take issue with the proposal this was principally driven by religious differences. Both sides were firmly protestant Christians. Charles economic and foreign policies and disenfranchisement of parliament, contrary to English practice, were the drivers of conflict. Nevertheless, a wonderful podcast, thank you.
