Nato Thompson's statement that everyone is a racist & equating racism to tribalism is ridiculous & offensive. It's a shitty little intellectual cop out for someone who has never lived black. I couldn't get into anything else he said, he lost all credibility for me. Racism requires power. It's very dangerous to try to paint something that is so horrifically damaging as normal. I will not be getting your book because you don't know what you're talking about. You must be a gentrifier from racist Portland.
Why does the host sound so frickin bored?? He sounds like he's depressed or about to fall asleep. Not a good voice for radio.
Holy cats, the host's nervous laughter was so annoying and, at times, inappropriate. Alton Brown, however, has some interesting and very opinionated opinions.
