Here is the review/debrief of sorts that looks at ”brain death” and the scientific episode from a biblical worldview.

Regarding brain death, life support, organ donation, I recently listened to this podcast by Dr. Robert Jackson....it was hard to hear but very eye opening. This is the scientific episode: I’m listening to More Than Medicine | A Challenging Discussion on the Issues/Definition of Brain Death with Pathologist/Bioethicist Dr. Doyen Nguyen on , check it out! https://www..com/ea/dir-n8jeh-1dbf3694 Another example of the culture of death permeating our lives right now.

If you think Russia’s attack on Ukraine was unprovoked, you need to do more research. Your analysis of the Ukraine situation is off base from reality.

So thankful for your daily “Briefing” on worldly issues from a Christian worldview. I so enjoy and appreciate just the dispassionate facts delivered within a bit of historical context and placing them in the proper perspective. I personally am exhausted from having my emotions “wound up” constantly from news sources by obviously incredibly concerning issues happening in our world and country. THANK YOU and may the Lord continue to bless your efforts.

Which bible verses support your position

I think the challenge here is where do you draw the line. Clearly, homosexuality is a sin. before marriage or adultery are also sins. Do we throw the 16 year old in jail because he sleeps with his girlfriend? How about lying, should we throw 99% of American population into prison?! Although I rarely agree with this current Pope, I think he probably got this one right.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. I Corinthians 13:11 NKJV I am 46 years old. I’ve thought about this verse recently because I have friends in their 30s who dress up for theme parties, build and display Legos at their house, etc. I’m all for having fun, but some of these activities are pure fantasy and I think abnormal for adults. So many don’t want to put away childish things.

What happened to the studies a few years back, that said children’s brains are not even settled until they are in their early twenties.

The obvious failure has been entirely overlooked. 1,900,000 registered voters in Kansas. 900,000 voted and a million registered voters DID NOT VOTE! The question should be why did the majority of Kansas voters ignore the vote?

thank you! so helpful in understanding the background to thus decision of the Supreme court.

Dr. Mohler, you mention that the hymn In Christ Alone is theologically accurate. However, does Jesus just control our destiny from ”life’s first cry” and not from conception or even before that? This has bothered me for some time. It plays right into the idea that beginning at birth is when we are of interest to God. Ironically, your next question was about the sanctity of life. - Paula Harrington
