Sooooo... earthrise.... that’s quite the deadline. The moon is tidally locked in its orbit, so the earth will NEVER rise... ever... like ever. I don’t know why Xenon was even worried.

I actually watched this one as a kid... I had forgotten everything except the handbrake scene. Even as a child, I wondered how the judges thought this paraplegic was breaking in all his other races up until now, if not a handbrake???

As a Canadian, we often finished school before Christmas sometime between the 21st and 23rd. You might finish slightly earlier in University if you’re lucky with your exam schedule. In the corporate world you often have to work right up Christmas eve and only get time off for Christmas day and boxing day. Separate Question: are you eating Christmas dinner at 2pm? You must have to wake up at like 5am to do all the prep for that???
Heather Hitt played by Carly Movizio. She played in this and one other TV Movie in 2021, then two shorts in 2008. I think Jumping Ship bot started and ended her career.
