Been with your podcast since eons ago. Even went back to the beginning so I’ve heard the lot. Today’s was really good. Comedy and thought provoking content. Especially liked the No Historical Christ stuff. Took notes. Thanks.

I’m not sure how comparing homeopathy to faith healing or psychics is problematic. The first comment read, which engaged in victim blaming, is obviously wrong; comparing homeopathy to other unproven dangerous practices seems right on, though.

That was frustrating, props to Mike and Marsh for dealing with that.

I would have expected the audience to skew younger. That’s actually interesting.

So the WHO is writing fluff pieces for pseudoscience now? That’s quite disappointing. As positive as the deocolonialization framework has been for reexamining our ethical policies and history, it has no place in science. Absolutely no place in medicine.

Re Matt LeTissier - have heard the name but couldn’t pick him out of a crowd and had no idea of his career. I am born and bred here in the UK.

Re the Dragster record from 40 years ago, there are a fair few things I could do 40 years ago that I can’t do now! Re the game co accepting it, I bet 40 years ago they just didn’t think it mattered but it made for good publicity & would encourage people to buy their game to try.

Mike’s Christmas Day story was similar to stuff that used to drive me bananas when I worked for Citizens Advice: you never/hardly ever get to find out the end! Like Mike, I’d’ve spent all day wondering what happened to that poor bloke 😕

Fenugreek is indeed eaten both as a green (leaves/stalks) and as a spice (seeds).

I have to comment a very nitpicky comment: tea in the wild is a big honking tree, but the cultivated varieties are kept short by cutting for ease of care. Tea is by no measure a shrub.
