Political persecution are people facing? I never hear these politicians talk about the details and just make up a slogan broad statement about something. Americans are curious and will educate themselves if they have to. But the more people like Sen. Padilla don’t put a policy in place to stop millions of people who aren’t seeking political asylum they are just being smuggled, trafficked and therefore criminals and people who seek to harm good Americans, has changed America’s friendliness.

Your comment about her race is so off base and another example of how people focused on their own communities’ poor treatment are happy to implicitly or explicitly support antisemitism- the real reason she should be ousted. How would respond if Black and Brown students were the targets of calls for genocide? Not with the callousness with which she failed to defend Jewish students I’m a sure. People and politicians like him just don’t get it. There shouldn’t be no limits or unlimited indefinitely unfettered access to Americans willingness to have thousands or millions cross a border. No other country in the world would and are tolerating this. The citizens have a right to be concerned and if those concerns aren’t heeded or taken seriously to find a solution painting people with a dismissive racist brush will never find willing ears and have solutions to the chaos and insecurity.
