I was once married to my abuser for eight years. Everyday I lived in nothing but turmoil. I just wanted to sleep that nightmare in my life away. And, like you said, he blamed me for everything. Everything was always my fault. No one ever wanted to listen to me about it, so I gave up on getting counseling services period. I won't say that I didn't at least try. But the problem with the "counselors" was that they were very rude, and always too busy to listen to a person like me. But, thank you so much for taking the time to talk about it!!!
