Listeners need to understand what this 2nd Trump Administration is trying to do concerning the citizenship equation. The president is trying to usurp Congress’ enumerated Art. I, Sect. 8, clause 4 power concerning ”establishing uniformed rules of naturalization.” The rules concerning citizenship are not an Art II duty or responsibility. The president has no say here.

This one-sided podcast from NPR is one of the many reasons they will lose their public funding. This twisting of history and only having the liberal view presented is horrific.

I like how this podcast gives the history of how the anti-vaccine movement started and has persisted. The popularity of the movement was high at first, then declined and then came back up. The swings had nothing to do with new facts. Mothers, understandably, want to protect their children and want to control what goes in their body. US citizens have become more skeptical of both big Pharma and medicine. There is a growing anger against our government interfering with our lives. These factors play a big role in why the anti-vaccine movement persists.

So, how is it that frm. Pres. Trump’s Stop the Steal speech on January 6, 2021, where he clearly did cause ”imminent lawless action,” i.e., a riot where protesters stormed the U.S. Capital building, harmed police, stole federal property and damaged federal property, doesn’t equate to a violation of free speech when action by protesters was immediate?

You utterly avoided the continuous push against the Palestinians by all Israeli governments and didn’t even showcase the literal state sponsored colonialism in WB. This garbage took 30 minutes to even get to the seeds of modern zionism.

Team no one. Anyone who harms civilians deserves life in military prison. Does anyone else think that 🇺🇸 jew was paid by the US government?

The presenters are correct in saying that despite all efforts to silence Morton, his ideas have reached us in our time. They come to the conclusion that suppression does not work. The fact is that suppression did work in shaping the widely accepted myths of our nation’s founding, as we only become conscious of the truth centuries after the fact. It is a dire warning that we cannot wait 3 or 4 more centuries to repair the damage of book banning and truth suppression going on now.

This is a good review, particularly for Americans unfamiliar with that whole area, and it’s long-standing conflicts

Wouldn’t it make sense to include some mention of Romper Room as a predecessor to Sesame Street?

The two episodes on Afghanistan were superbly done, giving us more valuable insight and perspective than I have heard from any other source. Please continue this series to bring us to the current scene. Thank you!
