Please don’t tell me Carlsson plays a perimeter game either. Hes like a modern day Getzlaf. He has holes and ill admit he doesn’t necessarily play with the ”energy” fantilli does but thats often how it looks when a guy is three steps ahead of the play. He might not have the snarl of a Getzlaf but he plays the same big bodied ”draw them in and then dish with three defenders hanging off you” style as Getzlaf. Hes not perimeter the way laine is...

Ummm- can you explain how Carlsson is like laine?? Big bodied? European? Sure- but those are pretty vague. Ones a wing ones a center- more to the point one is a pure shooter who almost seems to overly rely on his insane shot whereas the other one has been described as almost a pure playmaker with a shot that would be considered below average in the NHL. They bring completely different things to the game. I like fantilli more too- im not just simping for Carlsson but I’m just at a loss for words.
