Used to play for Sunderland youth and refused a pro contract because of the bullying in the ranks. Went to US and made a minor career in football but regret not sticking with it.

As someone else commented, this has run it's course... the whole 'boys' schtick with the forced wacky banter is so stale.

I've only just started listening to the podcast and I have to say it is brilliant. I used to play local football at a pretty good standard and the formation we played was 4-3-3 attacking and 4-5-1 defending bearing in mind this was 2003 and was quite unique for amateur football at the time.
Im afraid this show has run its course. Time to knock it on the head. Just not funny enough or interesting anymore. Bring on some guests.
