Not the first instance of a female necron - the head of the Maynarkh dynasty (Xun'bakyr, the mother of oblivion) was introduced in imperial armour 12 (2013), and more recently Psychic Awakening: Pariah, and The Infinite and the Divine black library book both feature female necron characters. And I agree, it is awesome to see this included in their lore! Infinite & Divine is highly recommended btw, hilarious millennia long grudge match between two immortal curmudgeons 😄
I don't think many people have complained about tournaments for painting points, its people complaining that there wiol be wankers who use it ib casual games. "Oh, well, that was a great girst game you played, but unfortunatly your stuffnisbt painted so you lose" And i know this person sounds like a bell end, but there were a ton of peoppe posting on facebook groups saying they are only going to use these rules in every game.
Would love to hear more indeapth on Dark Angels. I recently acquired 12k in points and am building my army up. I know y’all have talked briefly but would live an episode all about Dark Angels
Completely agree about the base size. My latest opponent cleverly locked my last wraithguard in melee by leaving a gap that was too small for it to escape. That led to me trying to use psychic powers to destroy the blocking unit, and then casting quicken, which would have let me destroy his in-melee units with shooting. I didn't quite destroy the units (rolled a ten on smite, left one wound on his lychguard unit). But base size was incredibly important in that, and made both of us think hard about how to use them to our advantage!
Dude, you need to throw a limit or compressor in your mic signal chain. The host's level is HOT! Nice show though.
Just listened to your imperialis podcast. Great lesson in the differences between the levels of war and that imperialis is still at the tactical level, just more of it.
