My Nan used to tell me about the famine. She came to Canada when she was a child and told me of her grandparents. This broke my heart! So, mission accomplished!? Great reading by the way, thank you.

That was delightful. Making such good use of your medium and paint pictures. BRILLIANT. Do more yes please.

Enjoyed this. Loved the end with the twist about the memory and the younger self from the painting.

I really love this podcast and can't wait for another season :) It is a wonderfully fun podcast with beautifully small snippets of our history and delivered in such a fun way. Brings you back to sitting in the library during reading time as a kid but just a bit darker. Can't wait. I recommend this to everyone I know.

Want so much to like this, but dear lord, please stop with the weird sing songing delivery. You can’t possibly talk like that naturally. I am a devoted Astonishing Legends fan. Can not imagine why the pros are letting this spin off be handled by such an amateur. Ugh.
