Grappling alone, a 150lb purple belt would destroy jake. With strikes involved, the purple belt might get worked. 150lb MMA fighter would beat Jake. If Jake was an MMA fighter, scenario completely changes. I roll with 200+ lb guys all the time.

Is it bad that as a new shooter i don't even want to try and compete if my true production rifle is going to be put up against custom rifles? Lol

On top after Day Two, go get em John!

We do matches inNew Zealand, during a podcast you were saying about bigger targets. What sort of size and range do you call bigger. And what would be standard sizing at

Know your pain dealing with customers and getting caught up so you can get away for a few days. Keep up the good work.

I’m shooting the central coast chaos match. It’s a AG cup qualifier in October in California. It’s my first 2 day match. I’ve shot a few local matches. I’m shooting production. There only 6 of us shooting the match so my goal is to get in the top 5 lol. Killer podcast guys. Thanks John for the time you put into the podcast. My commute to work is a couple hours a day so I like when the podcast go long. My dad owned a landscaping company for 25 plus years half my life has been landscaping so I

I love this format!! It’s awesome to hear what the top shooters are doing in everyday routine.

Hey man I’m in California haha. I’m just a regular guy with 2 club matches under my belt. I do a shit to of research and listen to all the podcast and a lot of dry fire and training in my apartment. I shoot my 10/22 before work to get trigger time. I have a little 5 year old girl that I get on my days off and a few days a week. I’m a firefighter so I don’t get a ton of days off. If you ever want to have the average Joe wannabe top 10 shooter hit me up lol. Great podcast!

I shot both your matches Jake/John and I loved them both. The AG cup match was a blast and it was TOUGH. It challenged me in ways I've never been challenged at a match before. I learned a ton. Your matches are great Jake I'll keep attending them all!

VP#29 - Would have liked to listen to this podcast but the load noise in the back ground was just annoying. Had to hear over that noise.

4 years ago reply 0

Can't thank you enough for keeping this going John! Having the insight from various shooters is priceless.

4 years ago reply 0

I think you guys should do a VPP episode LOL. No but seriously though you guys always have a ton of little nuggets even if you searched on forums and stuff you might never find. Also it's rare that on precision rifle podcasts that there's never three guests or more on at once which I've never understood.

Use CLR. It will clean off all of the carbon. Soak a break for 24 hrs and it will blow your mind.

Great episode! There are a ton of nuggets in there I'm going to have to take another listen. I was wondering can you take the expander mandrel out of any die and run it. I have a Hornady competition full-length sizing die for my 223 Remington trainer.

I like that you maintained your composure with a difficult guest. I’ve heard several interviews with Jacob. None of them is flattering for him. This podcast was even less so. Seemed like he had a chip on his shoulder.

This was a good one. I loved hearing you guys disagree. It's great hearing both sides of an argument. Good episode!

Someone’s Mic sounds like a dog licking himself, good content nonetheless the less. Thx

Great episode. Jon and Brian sound so much alike, this podcast sounds like 1 person. Lol

Can you maybe touch on where the sport is at now Vs where it was when you guys started. I.E the media coverage it gets and the advancement in gear and number of competitors there are. I’ve done a match now and thought I was ahead of the game until I got there hahaha did you guys have the same ah crap moments and how’d you get through them if you did. This podcast is helping me out a lot as is so thank you for that and if you answer this it’ll just be a bonus!! 🤘🤘🤘

How do you guys modify your magazines to work with the Brx and Dasher?

Great podcast !! Could you tell use the proper way to use of the rear bag?

Hey guys, love the podcast and enjoy the great info. I noticed Jake shoots left handed. I recently shot left handed during a match and did better than right handed. Im left eye dominant and honestly it felt easier to acquire the target. My question for Jake is did you always shoot left handed, or transition from right? I was trained for right hand in the military so I just stuck with it, but am considering the switch. What would you do? Thanks!

Hey guys love the show, keep it going. I like to listen when reloading and it's been quiet lately. So get back in the studio and make me some ear candy

4 years ago reply 0

Regarding managing recoil, my reticle is always 1 mil up and 1 mil left after the shot despite shooting straight behind the rifle. Could you help solve this issue? Great podcast! My favorite. Thanks a lot

Which is more important: bullet or the rest of the cartridge? Is the Atip worth the money?

Really liked the hunting podcast. I was glad it was 2 hours long and enjoyed all of it, please do more of these for your future hunts.

5 years ago reply 0

Did you eat some of them tasty morsels up on the mountain before heading down?! Talk about how you set up your rifle in the “rock” and how you doped your kestrel.

Love the hunting episodes, keep it up

I love how in-depth this podcast goes especially from two Shooters as Elite as you guys are I think what you're starting here is going to really Propel the sports capabilities and thank you for initiating things like that triggertech diamond giveaway that's going to be huge

@scotyocumWolves are overpopulated and kill for sport, they also are extremely hard on farmers and ranchers livestock as well as wild game. Smoke a pack a day.

I have no problems with it but what is your motivation to kill a wolf? Will you eat it? Love y'alls podcast...keep up the good work

Thanks for taking the time to help get this info out. It’s very helpful.

Can you elaborate more on checking vertical at distance. Say you have a load that shots one hole at 100 Yards with an ES of 10 FPS but at distance it shoots more vertical than you like to see what you do to fix it?

5 years ago reply 0

Keep it up guys. You said you are doing a 24" barrel for your PRC, what stock are you planning on using and will you be using a sporting barrel or bull?

5 years ago reply 0

Would dig more info on whether or not a chassis “needs” to be bedded

5 years ago reply 0

.300 PRC is a long action cartridge. Not the same case as the 6.5PRC. The .300 PRC is basically a win mag without the belt

5 years ago reply 0

I would like to hear about this as well.

@Shooter JET : I loved the first two podcasts. One topic I would love for you both to discuss is reloading. How do you prep brass, what brass are you using, how do you reload for a new barrel, do you use OCW or ladder testing, do you change or test seating depth a lot, do you considered SD and ES as the most important or group size. Run us through the steps right after you get a new barrel and when you find the proper load do you modify it down the road.
