Chris, I can’t thank you enough for all your wonderful podcasts. Your voice is so serene and soothing. You remind me of NPR’s Fresh Air’s Terry Gross who has much the same qualities in her voice. You and she also ask great questions and listen to the answers with no or very little comment which I find to be a sign of very great self-restraint. I’ve truly enjoyed every one of your podcasts but you have really outdone yourself on the Get Back series and Paul’s 80th birthday. Thanks!

Finally we get up on the roof! Been really enjoying this series, hearing different people’s opinions, who are all in agreement about how great the Get Back series has been. One of the highlights of this day for me was the moment near the beginning when there was still some uncertainty as to whether The Beatles would actually go up on the roof and John asserts his leadership and says, ”it, let’s go and do it”.

God I was hoping it wouldn't be the last time.. but again Campbell doing his singing makes me want to chew off my own fists with cringe. Plus all that bollocks about Her Majesty - it's on a shit Beatles song list Nicky because it's a 30 sec throwaway...that's it. I was about to be in 8th grade when John left Cynthia and became a couple with Yoko. Mind you, I lived in a really rural area of New Mexico and certainly wasn’t sophisticated, but my main takeaway is they were doing really outrageous things and doing really outrageous things for the attention they received. Also, I definitely wasn’t afraid of my parents, but I didn’t want to disappoint them and I certainly didn’t have the attention seeking personality type. Mental illness, I’m afraid.
