Any Democrat who wants to generate actual excitement, meaning donations and volunteering, not just votes, should consider running as an Independent. Especially Kamala Harris and Sherrod Brown. Loyal Dem voters like me feel let down, maybe even betrayed. I would be highly enthused by any candidate who says ”eff yoo” to the party.

You know what’s worse than using a government shutdown to extract policy concessions from Republicans? Using a shutdown, and then getting nothing for it! Dems had leverage, and they just gave it away. Voting Independent next cycle. F*** Democrats, they blew it. My favorite Dems better run as Independents if they want donations and my vote.

Heather Williams, with her robotic recital of talking points and fresh out of the focus group mentality, makes my eyes glaze over. I’m about done with the Dem party and its outdated apparatus. More Democrats should run as independents, and including Kamala Harris. She should ditch the party and run again as an independent and win.

Haley Stevens appears to be just another slogan-slinging politician. She’s not in tune with reality.

Schumer is doing better here, but like a typical Democrat, he’s too long-winded. He says the right thing, but then goes on and on, almost out of breath trying to belabor the point. Don’t be a gasbag. Make your point and shut up, stop doing that ”and one more thing” thing that Democrats do. We get it, no need to be patronizing. Keep it short and sweet, and be effective.

Just as there have been no political consequences for Trump after all the stupid stuff so far, there will be no consequences for him because of the economic damage caused by his illegal tarrifs. Just watch and see.
