Another great pod bhoys. Well done.

Howe says he thought the job was too big for him because he couldn‘t get his background staff together which is fair play and yet Ange has come in on his own and has taken to the job like a duck to water. Glad we got Ange because he has a plan to take the club forward which I find exciting.

2 years ago reply 0

I trust Ange explicitly and if he wants to punt players then so be it but if he wants to keep players again I‘m ok with it.

2 years ago reply 0

If you think back to first fan media conference when the guy said to Ange to watch the SMSM he got it. He said he wouldn‘t let anyone rip the p.ss out the club. He actually really gets it. I love the guy. This board need to do the right thing and back him 100% and he will get us into the CL and the rewards for the club will be massive.

2 years ago reply 0

There is no doubt we need to add to the squad so the board must back Ange in the January window. I don‘t think we will bring in a goalkeeper. I think Calvin Ramsay from Aberdeen would add to the squad. He looks good and we could get him at a bargain price and John souttar at Hearts also looking good.

Is it just me but why do so many grown up adults have cardboard cut outs of slippy? That is some weird sh.t. I actually seen a video of huns carrying out a burial service for a cut out. Fvcking really strange behaviour cause your manager leaves to try and improve himself. Anyway moving on...

2 years ago reply 0

First chance to catch up as relatives been staying and other half wouldn‘t let me listen earlier. Never mind let‘s get on. Absolutely brilliant slippy has given that lot 2 fingers. When Rodgers left us they had the time of their lives taking the p.ss and when the Howe debacle was going on they went into raptures. Now shoe on other foot so sorry I‘m going to gloat and get ripped right into that sh.te.

I seen that remark about Abada on ACSOM and thought it was one of the stupidest comments I‘ve heard. Everyone says Kyogo needs to play through the middle then that nugget makes a comment like that. Clueless!. Have subscribed on you tube so might start using that platform instead of this one. Cheers for another great pod bhoys. Hail Hail

The substitutions that we made definately affected the tempo of the game. Don‘t understand some of the negative comments about Giakoumakis. He missed a penalty but so has Macgregor and fans didn‘t give him the abuse. I believe Giakoumakis will come good and what I‘ve seen he can hold the ball up well and get other players involved. His confidence will grow when he pops a few in. At least he gives us squad depth which we were badly lacking previously.

As for the protest. I didn‘t agree with the tennis balls being thrown on the pitch as I don‘t believe anything should be thrown onto the park. Don‘t get me wrong I don‘t want Higgins anywhere near the club and fans should have the right to voice their opinions but not in a way that brings embarrassment to the club. If the board do appoint Higgins then it‘s going to bring even more discord between the fans and the board which does no one any good.

I know everyone talks about Kyogo, Abada, Jota and Ralston but the past few games I‘ve thought Bitton has played well. We are quick to round on him when he messes up so he deserves praise when he does well. Watching Ralston put Adam‘s on his was total class and then to put the cross in for Jota was sublime. Adam‘s being substituted soon after had me in stitches. We badly need to cut out these stupid individual mistakes that are leading to goals for the opposition.

2 years ago reply 1

Kyogo has been a breath of fresh air and watching him play with that smile on his face shows me he is totally buying into the way the manager wants the team to play. In fact all the players seem to be buying into Ange‘s philosophy and it‘s great to see. We need to buy Jota no doubt about it and if the board don‘t back Ange then there will be a riot. Surely even our board are not that stupid.

2 years ago reply 0

Have been listening to pods bhoys but had problems with keyboard so been unable to leave any comments recently.

2 years ago reply 0

Meant to say. Turnbull‘s goal was a classic. Great pod again bhoys

2 years ago reply 1

Against Motherwell I thought we were well in control especially when we went 1 up. Jota is looking good and will only get better. If I was Ange I would be pushing the board to buy him in January. Have said this is a massive rebuild and if we are only 3 or 4 points behind or even closer. We should add to the squad in the January window and crack on.

2 years ago reply 1

Thought Bolingoli has done well in both games he‘s played in and should be used more often so that we can rotate the squad and give players like Montgomery a break.

2 years ago reply 1

Take it from a 61 year Sellick da I've seen some really days when we were winning nothing but that's when true supporters step up and get behind the team and that's what we have to do now. Let's all get behind Ange and support him. This game against Raith Rovers is not going to be a pushover as many fans think.

2 years ago reply 2

We all knew when Ange was appointed it was going to be a major rebuild he had on his hands and we as a support bought into it. Thisbeing thrown his way from the SMSM and TBH some of our own supporters is ridiculous. It's 6 games into the season. I'm not saying we shouldn't talk or discuss about decisions he makes but to talk about sacking him is absolutely madness. This is going to take time and everyone has to be patient.

2 years ago reply 2

You are right watching that game reminded me how we played last season. If players are not fit why the hell are we signing unfit players in the first place? TBH I thought Bolingoli played quite good and got up and down the park well and it does give us another option for the squad. Apart from him Hart and CCV are the only one's to get a pass mark.

2 years ago reply 2

That Livingstone game was brutal to watch. Cannot understand the differences between the Betis game and that we saw against Livingstone. If you look at our bench the last 3 games it really does show lack of depth and quality in the squad. I couldn't understand why we kept putting crosses in when Livi's defence were clearing it time and time again. We really lacked ideas and that was a major worry. Why didn't we try and play it through them?

2 years ago reply 2

Thought CCV had a decent game along with Rogic. Ralston puts in a shift but sometimes his passing can be a bit off. Overall I was pleased with performance but not the result

2 years ago reply 3

First 20 - 25 minutes against Betis were very good apart from Soro picking up the early yellow which meant he was walking a tight rope. Losing the first 2 goals we did was disappointing and then losing the next 2 so quickly was heart breaking.

2 years ago reply 2

Brilliant rewind episode. I can totally relate to Davids era, scraping up Celtic Pools customers to get free season book as a kid in that Jungle. Mesmerised by Maestro's passes, daisy cutters that curled in between players. The man is an absolute legend in my eyes. My full family queueing to get SC Final Tickets and being at Hampden baking sun shouting abuse at Maggie Thatcher...... to epic scenes of unbridled joy. God Bless that team. YNWA

Our board being transparent? Are you kidding they see the support as a nuisance and don't give a monkey's about the fans. Ask yourself why did Rodgers leave and why did Howe not take the job? This bloody board badly need turfed starting with Bankier followed by Wilson

2 years ago reply 3

None of us really know what has made McKay resign but what I found strange was the club statement in which Bankier says he looks forward to working with Nicholson as he "is a team player". The board have to be held accountable becuase if McKay wasn't up for the job it was them that appointed him in the first place and surely due diligence was done before he was appointed. I personally don't believe anything that board say

2 years ago reply 4

1st half against Ross County wasn't all that good, poor passing and positional sense although we did create chances. We got lucky with the first goal then Hart makes a good save to keep it 1 - 0 and then we seemed to come into the game more and Ajeti gets a double. Really chuffed for him and hope he can kick on. Jota was ok first half but seemed to fade and his final ball needs to improve in my opinion. Thought Montgomery played well when he came on

2 years ago reply 3

I can't really see us getting a result on Thursday to be honest. The team really is lacking depth for this type of away game but the home leg might be a different story as the players will have had more time playing together

2 years ago reply 3

Really like when opposition supporters give a low down on their teams. Well done

2 years ago reply 2

Team Hart, Juranovic, Scales, Welsh Starfelt, Turnbull, Macgregor, Rogic, Jota, Abada and Ajeti

2 years ago reply 3

Christie to Bournemouth. Nothing to do with money! He has always dreamed to play for Bournemouth and their 12,000 fans. Good bloody riddance to him. He will never ever taste European games atmosphere again

2 years ago reply 3

We need to beat Ross County at the weekend cause we cannot afford to drop further behind. Livingstone away is our bogey team and if we get a result against them I will be more than happy. Ntcham downed tools and that's why he is at Swansea. He will regret not putting effort in at Celtic absolute disgrace of a player, glad he has gone

2 years ago reply 3

I know you have to pre-record so now we now know Kyogo out for 3 - 4 weeks. What a bummer! Ajeti starts against Ross County listening to Ange interview. Van hooijdonk, Cadete and Di canio were an absolute joy to watch

2 years ago reply 3

Get to January we will add and steam on. Ange will have an eye on the Asian market and pick up a couple to add to the squad. Can't wait to you bhoys are on you tube. You will go down a storm and get loads of subscribers. Hail Hail

2 years ago reply 3

Ange getting us into the Europa league group stages has been great as I had fear we wouldn't get their. Ferencvaros we can beat home and away, Betis will be a different game but we can take them at parkhead and Leverkusen I also think we can beat them at home. We at least can get into Europa conference league and finances are not that different. No we don't change the way we play, we play the way the manager wants us to play and consistency will come if the players buy into it.

2 years ago reply 3

Christie and Edouard moved for the money nothing to do with football matters. Stuff them let's move on! Starfelt I feel will come good he is just going to have to used to playing the way Ange wants. CCV is going to have to work hard to get in the team. Competition is good and can't wait to see team selection against Ross County

2 years ago reply 3

We were never going to get all the positions covered in this window but we will rebuild in January I'm sure Ange will go back into the Asian market and reinforce

2 years ago reply 3

No comment about Griffiths. Round of applause bhoys well done

2 years ago reply 3

Wish we had brought a left back and and another midfielder in. Julien to come back along with Forrest, Dembele and Johnston might get us through to January then Ange can go and get another few in. Getting the money for Edouard with only a year left on his contract, the club had to accept the bid. You could tell his heart wasn't in it. Best of luck to him. As for Christie well he's always wanted to play for Bournemouth so now he is getting his wish. Wages played an important part in that deal

2 years ago reply 3

McCarthy could be a good signing if we can keep him fit and that's the problem. CCV might give us a bit more steel in that midfield which we badly need. I would give window 7.5/10. Losing Christie and Edouard was always on the cards and as for Griffiths. Less said the better

2 years ago reply 4

Giakoumakis will either surprise us or bomb. Liam Scales excites me as he seems to be versatile where he can play and think we will need that especially with squad being small. Juranovic has to play in his preferred position. Hart is better than the keepers we have and at least he communicates with other players
