Did Ben Bennett just make an argument for genocide??? Did not expect that in a podcast about beating addiction.

Great Podcast guys! It's been fun to be on this journey with you as a listener. I'm realizing psychology is just a way to interpret or misinterpret what God has already said, so I love that you guys are making it clear that it is a tool that God uses to spread the gospel and bring healing. I wouldn't mind a little more straight up Biblical theology thrown in, but I think you guys are awesome, especially being willing to preach truth even through unlikely sources like The Shack and such. Nice!

Excellent podcast again fellas! You guys are on a roll. John really takes all the bad mystique out of what to do with same sex attraction. It's a temptation like any other. I feel more confident now in how I can approach things, without fear of saying something wrong or being offensive. It's not the desire, but what you do with it. ...and yeah Nick, ya did say cold water running down the body was not a fun thing. I'd have teased Trevor too 😉

Excellent podcast again fellas. Having not read it myself, I've also heard alot of weirdness about The Shack, like Trevor said, but after listening to Paul, I'm curious to read it. All of you guy's openness has been a real inspiration to me. Thanks for thinking outside the box.

Excellent podcast! Is so heartbreaking especially to see this next generation having so little direction, but so much looking for answers and we're silent because we don't know what to do. Thanks so much Janet for giving permission to have a voice. I get so worried about how to be and not offend and what I don't know, I forget to say what I do know. We all have different stories but we all lose our way. We all need the right answers even if they go against our desires. We all need real love.

Wow! That was quite the podcast - like drinking from a fire hose. Not sure how I missed it when it aired. Like the constant ideas of retraining the brain and that man is holistic - all parts of me effect all other parts of me and effect others.

"A robust fantasy life." Nice one Nick ;^) But seriously. Great podcast. It really clarified the difference between sharing relapse in the present and sharing the whole story at the proper time without gaps. Thanks

Great podcast. Always love hearing Rich speak. He so approachable and open. It was awesome to hear his story, seeing a hurt person who hurt people becoming a free person freeing people as you guys say. That's the story of God's love and grace and how everyone has a story and deserves to be seen through God's eyes. So hard not to rush to judgment instead of trying to understand and stand alongside. Pure Desire is such a blessing to me and so many others. Thanks Rich for being you.

Sorry, I did want to clarify that we don't 'just mess it up'. Just like Pastor Keith was saying, its so cool our brokenness is also our gateway to intamacy and healing with others. Thanks again guys. You've given me more courage to be authentic and vulnerable... in a good way 😀

@Brian : Excellent podcast fellas! This epitomizes why Pure Desire exists and what the Church truly is. It's sad we just mess it up with the same brokenness we're trying to heal. I wish we could make a distinction between the church as it's commonly seen with all its political problems and the Church as it is generally more in countries of persecution where they don't have time for all that fiddle faddle and the gospel is less tainted. I enjoy the freedom too much. Thanks for the kick to use it for good.
