Wow what a lovely person. Charles Spencer showed his strength and love getting thru a traumatic past. I had a terrible childhood and it left me damaged for life. I understand him completely. Glad he’s survived his mother’s neglect because let’s call it what it was. And I don’t believe his father had the warmth to make up for his mother leaving. I know his friend Edward St aubyn went through sexual abuse so terrible it made cry. I hope he’s got over what happened to him at schohappened thappened

1st podcast I have EVER downloaded, what a fabulous insight into the world of the comic genius that is Lee Mack ... and as if my childish adulation couldn’tbe topped, we find out that this true gentleman is a fellow veggie? Wonderful all round, thank you both.

Loved this interview with Samuel West! I had the good fortune to see his father, Timothy West, as Claudius with Derek Jacobi as Hamlet at The Old Vic in 1977!
