I just came across your podcast. I am 64 n I have been lifting, walking, rucking , n running laps in the pool on e a week. This week I started 41st week of working out. I lift 3x a week most weeks. I do 2 sets total. I have been increasing my weight over time. The 1st set is my heavier n I try to push 8 to 12. The 2nd set I go 5lbs less n do more reps. This has made such a difference in my strength. I walk at lunch n now my husband n I go rucking now. Ty for the podcast.

Thank you for your opinion on Algae Cal, I did some online research but wasn’t sure if it was the best kind of calcium, for the last 7 years i have had hyper calcium some doctors told me to take calcium carbonate some said to try to lower calcium intake. After a bone density scan I was told I had osteoporosis at 52 yes. After the scan my dr diagnosed me with hyperparathyroid. I’m having surgery soon and should be cured. I’m convinced that algae Cal is the best calcium supplement available

I just listened to podcasts about protein and you said plant based isn't a good source before or after work out. What do you recommend? Do you have one for purchase?
