Relistening to all your episodes Howie starting of course with the race drivers and the cricketers, and while it seems wherever the comments section is, it is not on this podbean....nonetheless I cant leave without making comment on Jamieโ€˜s closing comments in this interview: giving praise to Jack Perkins and just like the โ€˜team spirit moment to complete repairs under fireโ€˜ that he rated as career highlight earlier, he values the people around him. This is a really good chat, top shelf pilot JC!

Just on Ato Bolden, re 100m breakdown it is in parts, block.clearence then drive phase, acceleration , max velocity and the final.phase is know in a few ways but basically it is the capacity to slow down the slowest, e.g. Mai training the highest speed in extreme cns and glycolic fatigue for the longest. Also achieving max velocity later in the first half of the race as possible is the goal, so at elite level 1 poor stride contact can make a .1 sec difference, these athletes are that well drilld

Just dead set champion in every single way. so inspirational & a beautiful inside. When he left Melbourne to take up a position with a Syd club, great loss as far as a role model for my boys' club.
