My thoughts would be it has to be the dog. If my memory serves, the 5 hosts was told to Bernard before getting to the house. They showed the dog in the house alive. Only later was it found dead. There is an odd line by Ford that had me thinking for a while in the scene when he is explaining everything, implying adding the dog made it more real, but I'm on the fence with it implying it was a real/host dog. I think what is surprising is that the child host killed the dog, going off his programming thanks to an internal monologue/desire - showing Ford he is losing control. But...all theory here.

Pretty sure Ford said he was going to fix the dog.

I think you guys missed a critical part of the Ford family scene. Bernard was told that there were 5 hosts in that area. We presumed that those five were Ford's; mom, dad, brother, childhood self, and George the dog. For me, when they showed George the dog dead, they eleiminated one of those five possibilities, therefore implicating Ford himself as a host... Maybe i'm just reaching here.

A didn't hear the podcast mention that the fourth star in Orion's belt was a satellite that he was uploading data too. Did I just dream this up?

Ed Harris was a huge donor, he died and his conscious was uploaded to a host, he wants to be out again, si that is why he is looking for the maze?

Hey guys! Love the show. Based on what this show covers, I would highly recommend that you watch Dollhouse by Joss Whedon. It's a show from several years ago that deals with programmable humans. Realky similar to Westworld.
