As a prosecutor when you can find no persons in the life of this man who will say anything at all to bolster your assertion of motive, that’s a huge problem. I do not think they came anywhere near proving intent. He should be in prison for neglect of a minor and potentially even manslaughter but not malice murder. These people punished him because it was a tragedy and... apes wanna blame...
The following comment does not mean I think this guy has intentionally caused this. It also doesn’t mean I don’t think he did. I don’t know. Maybe I’ll have an opinion at the end of the podcast but I did feel like this needs to be said...
I really wish things such as ”active churchgoers” was not included in these descriptions. It’s meaningless. It’s no different than saying ”they are active grocery buyers”. It is not a sign of more decency or better people or more moral people. It just isn’t. Good people go to church and so do bad people. Good people don’t go to church and bad people don’t go to church. I will highlight the deacon, BTK, as prime example.
I don’t know about the details but I felt this had extreme personal vengeance written all over it from the get-go. More than likely they bound and killed his wife in front of him before shooting him. And I agree it’s possible, maybe very probable 2 or more people. Possibly brothers or other family members. Unrelated to the victims.
No wonder the case wasn't solved, can't remember hearing a law enforcement officer waffle on so much without saying anything.
I'm shocked this podcast is dropping new episodes after all this time

As a Las Vegas resident and someone on the Strip that night this hits close to home. My husband is a first responder and I thought I would have to say a final good bye to him. I did not have to but know many that lost their loved ones or personally helped to the fall out. I don't know the answer to gun violence but I really appreciate all views that were shown in this episode. It is a day our nation will never forget but I hope we can learn from and no repeat the past going forward.
My heart breaks for this woman and I feel like I would have similar to reactions to everything she dealt with. From being in shock and taking care of her husband to getting a divorce later. I am a Christian as well and feel like she held her faith well throughout. I pray she knows her son is with God and someday she will too. Everything she has dealt with and heart breaking and if I ever find myself in a tough situation I hope to have the strength like she does.
Well Done..RIP to those who lost the lives of loved ones all around the world ❤
These investigators need to be in prison. Taking away another person’s Liberty without damn good reason is criminal. PERIOD!
