I enjoyed this episode. Thank you
very good
great episode
I love the podcast but dear God please stop shuffling papers or whatever those noises are! Please guys.
The cognitive distortions outlined in this episode are worth hearing over and over again!
Thank you all for your important work. May I say I feel great empathy for Rhonda as it seems she is micromanaged and unable to take initiative on the podcast without being interrupted or talked over. Rhonda's treatment undermines the message of compassion and empathy. It makes me uncomfortable. May I humbly suggest that David et al listen to past podcasts and consider this feedback? Thank you very much.
Interesting that dr. Burns think it's placebo while there is very simple explanation why it's not. After exercise your body is overflowing with endorphins, serotonine and other hormones that are lifting you and isn't base of depression medications exactly playing with serotonin levels? So it's not placebo. As much as I love dr. Burns, at the same time I see him being very strong in opinion about the things that he himself never tried. I do understand he is not so young to do some serious exercises but because of it, he shouldn't have such a strong opinion about it.
I loved this podcast, one of my favourite so far. Listening to Sarah and her struggles felt like listening to myself. Even her description of her anxiety/panic nailed it in a way that I have trouble articulating. Thank you David, Rhonda, Sarah and everyone involved.
Thank you for this gift. Who ever would think that unwrapping something so annoying could lead to something so great!
Wow! I needed this gift to give to my husband. He has been a rock, and so often I had to relearn this message of feeling not enough and being so insecure I try to take my best friend, lover and cheerleader down to the depths of my despair. Now, I can use the 5 secrets to hold up my end. I can't wait to use this skill/ gift.
Thank you so much for your podcasts. This one is so timely!
What is the title of your into music? I find it relaxes me and makes listening soothing.
Good stuff
