Great episode Steve, I have used Telegram for a couple of years for reading Linux content, but nothing that needs encryption. For personal communication, I continue to use Signal which I trust because it’s open source and nonprofit.
You mention auto updates are a good thing, but what about when a plugin like 'the great suspender' changes hands and the devs auto-update malicious code?
