That's interesting that you mention not making a typical pb&j for lunch as a child. I was much the same way; I'd slice turkey breast, coat in egg and flour, and fry it for my sandwiches. And other bizarre cooking lol. But I enjoyed it! And having a mom who baked in a commercial kitchen doing bakery cakes for a living, I got early exposure to cake decorating. At the time, I wanted NOTHING to do with it. And now, ironically, I have a custom cake business! It's funny how life goes.
