I love this podcast, but this interview was hard to follow. I have ADHD and the rambling was beyond confusing. I mean, a direct question should have a direct response right? I get that this guy is old and has a lot to say but, it just comes across like the ravings of a mad man.

The Yates story is so heartbreaking. How powerless and terrified he must have felt to basically be ’black bagged’ and locked up simply for doing what he thought was right. It’s important to tell the stories of these people and give them the light they deserve.

My favourite part of the Oswald - Russia story has to be when Oswald asked the KGB if he could defect, and the KGB agent handed him a book titled ”The idiot”. 😂 That has to be the biggest burn in the history of job interviews right?

I mean NASA employed the world’s most horrific humans from Germany after the war! NASA is a fûking disgusting organisation that consistently makes deals with war criminals for profit - blowing up a building is breakfast for them.

Matt, l have to say I am really enjoying your podcast. It is my go-to JFK podcast. Not to disparage one of your contemporaries but l really tried to listen to Jeff Crudele’s Enduring Secret, and l had to give up. His net is cast WAY too wide...l don’t need to listen to 4 hours about Fidel Castro and his dad, for example. It just is too far afield away from the topic. Also l can’t listen to his pronunciation, like ’Oswell’, and worse, ’woand’...as in ’gunshot woand’. Who says that?

This is such an excellent episode to end season 1 on, the unpacking and sorting through such a tangled web of fact, fiction and fantasy is astounding. Can’t wait for season 2!
