Splinter was absolutely not the enemy!!! He was the sensai, the oracle, the father figure for these poor orphaned turtles stuck down in the sewers. Don’t judge him just because he’s a rat guys 😥

Barry yet again with the bozo outlook. Age? So what. Experience? So what. How much Chelsea spent? I imagine so what if he bothered to consider that. Same guy wanked off Rashford and Rashford alone coming through at Man U let’s not forget.

Was that Aarons’ who waffled on praising the ref? Caicedo fouled 7 times. There was undeniably 2 yellow cards there. Maybe 1 yellow and 1 orange arguably. He allowed Chelsea to keep kicking Liverpool players after letting Poch’s pre-game comments get to him. Waffler.

I believe that both the Man City v Brentford and the Liverpool v Luton games were not televised in the UK was nothing to do with any ECL fixtures those nights but more to do with the EPL rules prohibiting TV companies from televising any game that had previously been scheduled as a Saturday 1500 KO. The rule is archaic and deprives genuine fans from being able to watch their teams midweek on TV especially when they may have been able to go to the original fixture!! The fans once again lose out

max Rushden returns, plaudits for person who was in place during his absence

I see MAX has succumbed to the modern curse regarding the use of ”just about”, as in Manchester United ”just about” won. They didn’t ”just about” win...they won. Please stop this abomination now.

Sending out a team of essentially 11 new players, in fact a scratch team, does not help them show how they could enhance or better the first team. Same goes wholesale changes in cup games. I’ve been meaning to make that point for ages. Also the propensity the English media for overvaluing who is familiar. Before the season began any commentator might have named a dozen midfielder better than Szobolay, it is hardly so now. Sorry for excessive length. More female voices and viewpoints please
