What a great episode! I grew up here in the 70s & 80s and you hit so many great points. My husband and I go down to Tompkins when I’m feeling nostalgic fir the ”grit” of that era. My main hangout was Grassroots and where I brought my husband the first night we met in 1987.

I love this episode! I’m a native New Yorker and have lived in the Gramercy/Gramercy adjacent area for over fifty years. I love the park and hearing the history of the area is awesome. Great episode!

I’m hoping these are not Pretendians. That would make me sad. Always excellent podcast.

This was a great episode. Thank you for your superb journalism and sharing the amazing history of the Silent March. It was enlightening and also informative that history reveals trends more than events. I also want to thank the podcast in general for balancing what's fun, important, serious and fascinating all in one program. Excellent work and excellent quality. Know that your hard work and dedication are appreciated.

Format does not allow you to slide the time forward. A big disappointment.
