6.5 creed is fine, but the Barnes might be the worst bullet for it. Eldm all the way.

I bought a Katabatic 15 w/850 fill when I first started out. It works great and I will throw in a liner if I think it will cold to get a couple more degrees out of it.

I have zero issues with my 10.5x44 kowa genesis binoculars. Glass is great, don’t know what more you’d want in binoculars

Awesome Podcast, Dude is a badass and I appreciated the ”Old School” mindset, respect for the animal and the Family elements were spot on! Keep the good stuff coming and Thank You!

Shot two bulls this year with a 140gr eldm out of a creedmoor. One bull was at 50ish yards. Not only did it break the onside shoulder but exited. Another at 200yds. Again broken onside shoulder and exit. Two very dead elk with shattered shoulders by way of a ”paper thin jacket” match bullet.
