I really enjoy this podcast because it makes more since .My current therapist isn’t as calm and friendly so the doctor sounds.

For all their discrimination in the OB field, I actually *asked* for sterilization as birthcontrol & later to treat my endometriosis bc I did not want children at all & was outright denied by my male ob at the time. I was condescendingly told to have children to fix it bc I was too young & would ”change my mind”. Over 10yrs later.... still dont want kids.

Now im worried if the cognitive impairments also become harder to treat/reverse along with it.

Hit home hard im so grateful you guys brought this one here too. I know they only have so much time, but Dr. Glover didn't mention if the cognitive impairments could be reversed at all Can we possibly have her back on or ask another guest who knows more if it can to speak here or post in the FB group? I knew depression affected cognitive abilities, heard of that before, but I never heard each untreated episode led to depression that's harder to treat which concerns me most.

Your guest is an idiot. Only a true idiot would believe there is no such thing as black on black crime. Please screen your guests better.

I would love to see this topic revisited with guests who are autistic themselves. As an allistic parent of autistic children I've gained so much more from learning directly from autistic adults than I have from professionals. Black autistic children are more likely to go undiagnosed and be without supports. There's a lot of ground to cover from a more positive viewpoint.
