This guy has got a hangup about cuteness. Things can be both cute and awesome!
Thank you Alie, I re-lived the eclipse thanks to the podcast ☺️
Omg i got so excited about this, is linguistics my ”thing”?! Time to go down the rabbit hole

They laid down some hot tracks.....the best line. Best. 🥁
Here’s some temporal food for thought. We call people with diabetes diabetics, not diabeetics.
Mike Rotch? REALLY???
these make my day
What an amazing, heartfelt and sincere episode. I’ve been listening for years, almost since the very beginning and this episode puts on display every single quality of Alie that makes her the magical mythical legend she truly is. I almost squealed when she talked about cross stitch, which I have loved for at least a decade! There are few things as satisfying in life as cross stitching some nerdy obscure thing that makes your heart sing and displaying it for everyone 💗
I loved this episode so much! The relationship between you two is so genuine, honest and fun. Alie, I understand you don’t like talking about yourself, but I found it fascinating. ---Susan
i enjoyed this lemur study epi sooo much....i love Madagasgar, so many strange and wonderful things there...my stepmom traveled there in the 60’s and related details of her experience...love to go afore i die!....maybe my ballsack will enlargen....?LMAO!
Smologies #32- I love absolutely everything you do in your podcasts, you make learning about things pleasant, interesting and humorous. It’s 100% not your issue. It’s petty, superficial and MY problem, but I can’t listen to voices with vocal fry. Maybe the modern phenomenon of vocal fry can be a topic, I’d definitely listen to that one! Thank you!!🥰
I keep listening to this one - it’s super helpful 💙
Bro lost me when he said he was actually a witch
I have a bone to pick with you, Alie Ward! I am a senior who often awakens at night at 2 or 3 a.m. and can’t get back to sleep. I am a big fan of your podcast (and of squirrels), so last night in the wee hours I opened your podcast and began listening to this in hopes I would drift off into lalaland. INSTEAD, I got so engrossed that I listened keenly to the whole episode, lol-ing all the way! So now I know what NOT to do for insomnia. Or...maybe what TO do to just go with it and enjoy! Thanks!
History comes from the greek word historia. How does the curator not know that?
