Amazing such lies and fake news in 1840 to 1856! Like no such thing as moderate newspaper back then. Also E.C. Booz was 16 in 1840 so the small was small bottles of whiskey were first made in 1858. Not a log cabin really but a town house common in Philly. Nice story but “Booz” was around before E.C. Booz who died in 1870 at 46 years of age.

Great podcast. Hard to be subjective when traitorous and seditious behaved of Trump and his minions try and fail to over turn a Fair and Free election. Saying it is Stolen a billion times and The big Lie will not change it. It is over. As in 2017, “Elections do matter.”

Did I hear you correctly? Most protests non violent. When you refer to Trump it should be President Trump. Every other president even after their term is President. I may delete your podcast after this episode. Truth and honesty and don't spin it to follow the fake news.

There is something wrong with this recording. Out of the break at 52:48 it picks up at the same spot as 34:33.

I have SO enjoyed this podcast! I was sad to reach present day, knowing that the podcast would come to an end. But, why end it? Please consider expanding the scope to include senatorial, congressional, gubernatorial races from the nation’s past and presenT.

Disagreement and "bashing" are not the same. I disagree strongly with many of Piper's takes. I only caution p. ? ? and his teaching, I wish you well, but I abstain. If someone wants to characterize zxarnings as bashing, have to it.

This site shows it's partisan views when it refers to "Republicans" rather than "German Republican Society," making it seem that the Republican party of today opposed George Washington's second term. The Republican party of today started in 1854 as opponents to the expansion of slavery in the U.S. I think this is an important distinction that should be pointed out.
