I think the operative word here is we. Why don’t they disguise themselves? Why would they? We don’t believe it when we see it. Why don’t they say hello? In the US we have a long rich history of obfuscating what’s in our food. For instance, we call the undesirable parts of live stock ”animal bi-iproducts” and we call what we make from them ” hot dogs.” We should just call insects ” non-traditional food sources” and call it a day.

Thoroughly enjoyed this episode! Personally, I find a steady state explanation of universal origin to be a little more elegant than the Big bang theory. Also on a completely unrelated note, I do believe travel between stars is possible. If you doubt that, I would refer you to what Einstein called spooky action at a distance.
