Even with a not-for-profit market, you don’t answer the questions of class and heirarchy, and people would still be coerced into work, even if it’s healthier work, it’s still coercion. It doesn’t tackle the problem of political corruption or policy bottlenecks at the top. Just by existence of the state creates a ruling class, and that ruling class will sabotage everything. We need an anti-heirarchical society. Why not do an episode on that?

The answer to not being controlled by institutional powers is to not be dependant on them structurally or financially. Everything we do, including theatre should be community run and funded and we should tell institutional money to go elsewhere other than the arts... So essentially bottom up, grassroots anarchism that creates free and uncommercial art.
